KEGS is excited to announce a mini symposium focused on the electromagnetic (EM) methods. This event is planned for Saturday June 11th 2022. It will be held in person in Toronto, Canada the weekend preceding the Prospectors and Developers Association Convention. A social event will follow the symposium.
Electromagnetic (EM) methods have been a mainstay in exploration geophysics for over 50 years and continue to be a vital tool in applied geoscience. As EM systems have increased in power, complexity, and resolution jointly with vastly improved data processing and visualization tools, their application has extended well beyond the bump-hunters of old. The mini symposium aims to provide a snapshot of recent advances and applications of the EM method to geoscience problems.
The event will comprise a series of invited and solicited talks on the following topics:
Tentative program includes case studies and presentations from Geotech Ltd, Expert Geophysics, Xcalibur MP, Goldspot, Alan King, CGG-GeoTools with more to come.
